Our story began in the heart of Wuppertal, Germany. An adventure started there; one which saved so many lives and turned into a life mission.

Our CEO and founder Adam Mikulski recalls our beginnings: “Having worked in the aviation sector before, I always felt a strong pull to this industry. But I wanted to take matters into my own hands to create a bigger impact and have a more personal influence on things. So, in 2009, I decided to start my own business. Hence, our company was launched in a small office with four employees in Wuppertal, Germany.’’

Initially, our services were mostly focused on helicopter transfers. However, we soon noticed a lack of air ambulance services, especially at the time. With people needing to travel to access high-quality medical care, we stepped in to provide air patient transfers through air ambulance flights.

We started locally, focusing on German patients who needed to be transported to and from different parts of the world. We gradually started offering our services in English and French to serve a wider range of customers in different countries. By now, we have become a global organization operating in a huge and competitive market with 14 more sister brands, and from four employees, our team has grown to provide our services in 16 languages to meet the needs of different types of markets all over the world.
